Other than the usual mahjong gameplay, Upjers Mahjong also features a fun garden that players slowly get to upgrade as they progress through the game. To purchase things for the garden you’ll need to use gold bars which are the currency earned by completing levels. The garden aspect of the gameplay is completely optional but it’s definitely recommended that you go through it because it’s very satisfying to have a complete garden to admire once you’ve gone through all the game’s levels.
Onto the visuals, Upjers Mahjong looks pretty solid. It’s by no means the best looking mahjong game out there but it definitely comes close. The tiles have really sharp designs, the artwork is solid, the background environments are highly detailed and the sound effects are very high quality as well.
